When I was walking down Main Street in Bloomsburg I was trying to figure out what place I should observe. As I crossed the street I happened to look to my left a saw Subway. As you look at Subway from the outside you can see the sub station and kitchen on the right wall in the back. Next to the sub station there was a Soda Refrigerator where they stored all different kinds of sodas and water. There were also two table on the outside of the resteraunt where two males were eating and talking. As you ope the door to enter there are two boths on your left and three bar like tables to your left. Behinds these tables there is the chip rack. I found this set up to be a little differnet from the one in my town. However, I did notice it worked nicely for the town of Bloomsburg. Also, as I was sitting there I looked around to see what people choose to buy from here. My observations were:
~ 9 people in the Subway (including two outside)
~ 6 of whom had sandwhiches
~ 8 of whom had drinks
In these findings it showed that some do come to eat but others come to socialize with their friends or family as the other eat and get something to drink.
